Does a different date of birth create a problem officially?

I have been appointed as an HR executive as my first jobs so I am in a learning phase. I know that various documents are necessary while recruiting an employee. Candidate’s identity card is must among these documents. So, does it create a problem if a person has different D.O.B’S in two different ids?

It depends upon the situation.

If you got a job in a public sector company, then the difference in date of birth will matters a lot.

In private sector companies, much importance will be given to the date of birth.

I have seen number of people in private companies with varied of date of births as on certificate and actual.

In public companies, this will lead to the termination of job also.

No,there should not be any sort of discripensy in the date of birth of any person.Any person cannot be born twice.So,that person cannot have 2 different date of bith!
2 different date of birth will show 2 different age of that individual.It is a matter of total confusion! I will suggest you to ask fot the birth certificate of that person.You will get the authentic date of birth along with the birth year of that person.Dont take any risk or dont keep any confusion,as you will be answerable in future if any problem arrises out of it.

yes of-course wrong date of birth will lead to many problems.
initially it will be ok for you . but at later stages you would have to suffer a lot because of this.
this may result in disrespecting you, or even can lead to termination from your post.
so it is sensitive part, ensure you are on right track.
