Does a BPO experience gives opportunity for other better option for Post graduate candidate?

I am postgraduate candidate in MSW with HR specialization. I have 2 years experience in BPO. I had taken up this job to manage my finance. Now I am trying for HR position in various place but being rejected for my experience in BPO field. Is it necessary to have a experience in the same field to get a good job. Does a BPO experience hold any good opportunities for me?
What should a fresher do if he does not find job suitable to his education or like? Please suggest.

A BPO job experience is not considered to be of the level of other field experience. So it may not help you get good jobs, the thing which you can do is focus on other thing in your cv,highlight any other achievements or projects you undertook.Points you can highlight are -
*Experience of 2 years in BPO shows that you can work in team,so you are a acceptable member of the team.
*Night or day shifts show that you are flexible and adaptable regarding the working hours.
*You can deal with people well as you were in a habit of dealing with lot of people in BPO field.

hello dearIt is not able to get a HR job on depending only BPO workings. An HR job requires most of these qualities in a candidate-he/she should able to handle management in office or company.-he/she has knowledge of humans behavior or attitudes.-he/she has the capabilities to solve recruiting problems for vacancy.-good corporate knowledge.-team work-co-operate employee.so you should work in any company to get experience letter to become an HR.as being a bpo employee you can go to kpo or consulting firms as a assistance worked not as an HR.best of luck

Experience of two years at the BPO sector, won't be helpful if you are applying for the HR position. So the post which requires experience, you can't be eligibile for that. Now you need to try to find a post, which doesn't requires the experience, apply it as per the fresher. Initially start with smaller company, no matter in wat position and once you gain experience, try to find out the good job opportunities with good position. BPO experience does not have any direct link with the HR, so the experience won't be considered. As an fresher, don't look for the salary, grab the opportunity whichever you get.

You had joined as executive as I guess, try to climb higher positions as Team Leader(TL), Quality Assistant(QA), and if you had already done MBA try to get through Internal Job Postings(IJPs) or else as previous posts suggest go as ITEs recruiter.
