Do I need to show my employment details in GATE application? Whether the institute will ask for NOC or Relieving Certificate during interview?

I completed my BTech in EC in 2010 and since then I am employed with a leading IT company. I have got 1279 rank and 639 score in GATE , EC. I want to pursue MTech. Should I show my experience as explanation of 1.7 years gap? In that case will the institutions ask for NOC/releiving certificate during interview? My company does not issue NOC. I will resign from my current job but the notice period is of 1 month and there is a fair chance that my current manager will delay my release by 1 more month due to project requirement, so, while applying or during interview I won't be able to show the releiving certificate. My resignation process will be completed latest by Aug. So should or should not I show my experience while applying?

Dear Sir, you must show your experience in the interview. your experience will let you have more preference. Moreoever, as per as NOC is concerned, it is demanded only from the government organisationss. The private organisations do not issue an NOC. So even in case you show your emp details, they will not ask for the NOC. what may be asked at the tome you join college is a relieving letter from your current employer if you have resigned or a letter from your employer stating your leave approval in case you dont resign and are on study leave.

    Thanks

    Hello,

When you fill up the form there is a section where you will be asked if you are working somewhere at present or not.
If you are working somewhere and you have mentioned it in your form than you will have to submit a NOC to the institute.
You can apply for the NOC in the company if it is not breaching any contract. You will get it done easily.

giving employment details in gate application is not mandatory; n there are no reservations for SC candidates in private sector becoz one should have the knowledge related to tht field in which u wanna work whether one is Sc or General

You need not show any kind of releiving certificates in M.Tech college. Many students get a gap of 1 and more years after their graduation .If they ask about the gap say that you have worked for the company. No one will ask your releiving certificate. If there is any column in the application for the gap write it and nothing else is needed.

Congratulations! You don't need to show your employment details. No college will ask you about the gap.If they ask, you may show. Many students will get a gap of 2-3 or more years after their graduation. If there is any column for the gap you can fill. But mostly no college will ask you about this gap.

Its not compulsory to show them your employment details...
But you will be preferred if you mention your employment details incase of tie....
If they demand the same then give it you will not be asked for further explanations.....
Better you can give your details as per my suggestion ...
    All the best.........

No need to show the gap to pursue your M.Tech . You got good score in GATE exam. You can try in NITs .

If you get Admission in NITs then you will have excellent feature after completion of your M.Tech. You can also try in Universities.

Many top companies recruit the NIT candidates like : GOOGLE, YAHOO, AMAZON etc.....

They will offer salary for the freshers in the range of 7 Lacks to 60 Lacks per annum. In the last year one company offered 70 Lacks for one students. This is the highest amount for the NIT students.

So if you have excellent knowledge/ Skills, you can get good job with high range of salary.

    Thank you

    Hi,

:!:Hearty Congrats for Securing a Fair Score in Gate:!:

::If you gonna Pursue M.Tech it is not Necessary to Include your Working Experience in Gate Application::

::In Turn if you gonna apply Core Jobs with your Gate Score it is Necessary to shoe your Professional Experience::

::It is because during the Interview the Interviewer demand an Explanation of Time Gab in your Experience::

::But the NOC will not be asked to produce during the Time of Face-Face Interview::

::Once you successfully get through your Interview at the Time of Certificate Verification your NOC should be Submitted::

::So Pre-Prepared for it now itself::

    _)(_Thanks_)(_

As per my understanding, there will be no need for you to show those. Basically, for joining M.tech, you will have to take your B.tech degree certificates. It is even not mandatory to provide your employment details. Make sure that you have your b.tech certificates with you.
