Do the companies reduce HRA and T.A.D.A amount for being transferred to a unprofitable area?

I was working in a Dairy Farm at the Bhubaneswar branch. Our company started a new project in a rural area. Other officials were unwilling to be transferred So I was transferred to that place. I am not regretting it. But one thing that bothers me is whether they will reduce my HRA and T.A.D.A amount or not. This area is unprofitable one and is opened for a sole purpose of publicity by helping the rural people. Can you clear my doubt in this regard?

As everyone know that all the employees of government organization gets payout according to the area and location of job as if any employees is working in rural area where no more inflation and easy to survive without any struggle then he will get paid less than those who are working in metro cities and urban area as we may see that a bank officer getting paid about 27500 INR per month in normal area but we may take example that he will get more than 50000 in Bombay or Delhi area with all other allowances per month so such type of things effect a lot

If you have been posted to the rural area and not regretting about it then it is very good for you but if you are worried about the further situation may be faced is whether your company will reduce your HRA or not so I would suggest you that if your company has the rule to reduce TA DA and HRA of employees when they are posted to rural areas where no profit at all then they will reduce that otherwise not and you can make it confirm from those employees who have worked so they will give you correct information

You may not directly ask about it from your boss and if you see that this month's salary is somewhere deducted then you may talk to your boss that why it is so when you have been a good employee and working well and if there is no deduction then be happy and keep your work continue

    All the best

HRA or house Rent allowance is given based on cost of living index of a city or town or rural village
So if you are transferred from a City like bhubaneswar to rural areas than YES your HRA will be reduced
But i would suggest that you should get this clarified from your Company HR team
TA DA normally would not be reduced
Also some companies gives extra allowance to stay in rural areas
