    Director of the coaching institute burdening me with extra work load without the mention of any increase in salary

    I have been working with a coaching institute from the past one year. One of the important faculty members left his job recently because of which I have been burdened with extra workload. I indirectly asked the Director to increase my salary but he has not agreed regarding the same. Please suggest whether I should invest extra time in the same or not.

    Dear friend,

    I would suggest you to go through the contract or clauses that you agreed upon when you joined the institute. Although its not right to burden you with the work other was supposed to do. I would suggest you to talk to the director that you are not able to cope up the pressure. Also if you are paid on per class basis only then you can ask for increase in salary. but if you are paid on day basis or on monthly basis , then you cannot ask for the same.

    Please talk to your director depending on the clauses you agreed that either get another faculty to take up the work or pay you extra for the extra work burden you are coping with.

    Dear Aspirant,

    It is quite natural to face the problem of overburdening of works in professional life.It is not good for refusal of instructions/directions of your boss as it may not be good for you.You may loose your job in case your director/chairman gets substitute for you,because it happens frequently in pvt.organisations.

    So you should continue taking overload of works & consequently you may request to hike in salary.Do it for some time & see the result.If you don't get positive result,you can pretend of doing more extra works,but you should not refuse directly.

    Hi,
    As you mention that one of the important faculty member left his job recently, so in such condition try to give your best because sometimes after see your extra hard working routine may be director increase your salary.
    But do not repeat this process more then 20days and still your director not give you any hike in salary then you can directly discuss this matter with him. Because in peak and crucial time every director want the same that his old employee can manage for few days so that they can hire new resource. So this is your responsibility as you are working with that coaching institute from past one year.
    But if they are not hire any new resource and give you extra work load more then 20days then you can discuss this matter with your director.

    Dear Friend,

    As you tell that you have joined last year and one important faculty also left institute then i think you must wait for the new faculty or may be till the new session comes...because your Director is also must be in pressure because of less of staff...

    And, if you will speak now for increment then it may be possible that he will fire you from the job..because of pressure he can do this...so you must wait for some time...

    And it may be possible by seeing your good effort and your Hard work he automatically increase your salary...so its your duty to devote yourself for your institute...

    Well the increment and decrement of the salary overall depends upon the work performed by you in the organisation as how much useful is your work in the organisation.
    You said that your boss is overburdening you with the work, then rather than asking the question here you should say to your director that you are being overburdened with the work and if any problem happens with the work then you will not be responsible for that because you are doing the work of more tha 2 person, so the mistakes will be the common problem.
    Well if you think that while saying this your boss will think that you are not capable then you bare wrong because every body has a right to speak in front of the boss regarding the problems and difficulties because they are there to help you not to **** you because if they are not good with you then nothing will happen in a peaceful manner.
    They will take your words like a warning and not give you more work than you handle because its always good to open the mouth when youy feel insecure because if you not say anything then the things will become worse in that situation so always be on a safer side because tommorow your boss will not say a single word to you.
