    Different types of interviews which are conducted while going for the job placement? How to be prepare for the various different types of interviews?

    I wanted to go for walk-ins from now on, so I want to know what are the different types of interviews which are conducted in the Walk-ins? How to prepare for those various different types of interviews which are handled in the job placements?

    Hi ,

    The interview for the jobs may be of the following types :

    1. Screening interview : This can even take place over phone.The main purpose is to screen or eliminate the candidates based on skills,education etc.Give answers in such a way that you have plenty of reasons to move to next round.


    2 . Group interview : Here several candidates are interviewed at a instance.Contribute the most in the group and make them consider you for the position.


    3. Team interview : A panel of members will interview the individual.Interact with each member of the panel.Maintain eye contact and answer the question with confidence


    4. Informational interview : Its you who are going to ask them , as new to field you can use informational interview to find out the details of the work nature of the job.Prepare certain questions which you are willing to ask them about the job like "What are main requirements for this job?"


    5. Telephone interview : Its a evaluation process before you get into the job.Make sure that you have no distarction while talking over phone.

    Maintain primary eye-contact with the panel member who asked the question.

    3. behavioral interview:-

    the basic premise behind this type of interview is that your past behavior is the best predictor of your future actions. These types of questions may be asked in any interview format-telephone, panel or one-to-one.

    4.case interview:-

    in some interviews you may be asked to demonstrate your problem-solving skills.

    Before answering a case interview question, be prepared to ask the employer numerous questions for the clarity and informational purposes. Most employres will provide responses that could result in additional queries.
