Dear, friend let me make you clear that director is the highest designition in the organisation. The ceo or chairperson acts as a additional director. So, let us take a example in a organisation the director is the sole responsible in the case of absence of director the ceo will take a charge of director. Thank you.

The CEO is a company's top decision-maker, and all other executives answer to him or her.

The chairman of a company is the head of its board of directors. The board is elected by shareholders and is responsible for protecting investors' interests, such as the company's profitability and stability.

Director is an appointed or elected member of the board of directors of a company who, with other directors, has the responsibility for determining and implementing the company’s policy.
