    Details about all legal issues like TDS, EPF etc.?

    I have recently joined a company, I want to know all the Legal issues related to Human resource department apart from that rules of TDS , EPF, ESI , income tax all the relevant information regarding salary.

    IT is applicable if your salary is higher than 2 lakhs per year, otherwise it is not applicable.

    between 2 lakhs to 5 lakhs 10 % tax on basic salary.
    between 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs 20 % tax on basic salary
    above 10 lakhs 30 % tax on basic salary (sur charges may apply on this range)

    ESIC is applicable if salary is below 15000 INR per month, state insurance corporation will reimburse the medical charges against original medical bill submission to HR dept. its good scheme for those who use to fall sick frequently.

    EPF is applicable if salaruy is above 6500 INR per month. EPF is govt. scheme for employee. 8 % of your basic salary will be given to you in your PF account and same amount employer will also deposit in your account.
