    Are days for salary are counted on monthly basis?

    :I got my Feb’13 salary on seventh of March 13.I observed some deductions which were extra then that of what expected.Actually my salary was deducted on a extra leave day taken but a amount of 156 was extra deducted. When asked to accountant he said the salary is been calculated on the basis of days in a month. Can this happen please guide with the norms?

    Dear Aspirant,

    It happens when one is not on duty for a whole month.

    The no.of days is assumed 30 days whether it is february or december.

    Suppose one employee is absent for 10 days in the month of february,he will get salary for 20 days.

    If you have any confusion,get it clear with the manager Accountant/Accountant of the company.

    Dear your accountant is absolutely right about his information for this deduction and when he is saying to you that you are getting on the basis of everyday then you should accept this situation and receive whatever you got in your bank account and if you will raise your voice against this then you will not get anything so that dear you should try to not make any leave from your company and if you do the same then you will get the same again and it will affect your career and performance in the company and if you think that your company is not good with you then you are wrong about your company and you should try to perform better than before and try to get more incentives and respect in your company and if you contribute more then you will not get deduction from your salary and remember that the salary is not calculated on the basis of month and always calculated on the basis of everyday
