But the bank is not giving me my appointment letter as the current company I am working is not accepting my resignation letter. What should I do?

    Dear Aspirant,

congratulations for getting selected for probationary officer.

Follow the terms & conditions of your appointment in order to accept your resignation letter.give the notice period or be ready to deposit the amount of money in lieu of the notice period as per the terms & conditions of the appointment.Make a record of your correspondence.

Even if you are unable to get success, contact a good lawer & send a pleader notice to the head/manager HR of the company.

Mean while inform the matter to the banks so that your candidature be safe & not cancelled.Inform that as soon as you get the relieving order, you would report for duty. Also you can send a bond through the affidavit that you are interested to join in the banks & request to issue you the appointment letter.

Hope you will get success in joining the bank as PO

    thanks

    Ashok

    Hi friend

Such things do happen with many candidates and you should not be disheartened and try to do something about it..Dont shirk from doing what you will require to do in such a situation and be brave .. Your previous company is certainly in the wrong and should give you your resignation and experience letter..No company will appoint you unless you show them your resignation letter as well experience letter from the previous employer which is a proof that you are no longer an employee of that organization..

So you go and talk to your previous employers regarding this and tell them that you want your resignation letter accepted soon as you have got a new govt job and have a bright future there..Also tell them that you are ready to complete all the required formalities ..I am sure if you talk to them properly they will certainly accept your resignation..But in case they tell you to serve the notice period which most companies do and you want to join your new job immediately , you tell them you are ready to pay compensation for the same as your new job is more important to you..

    Good luck

    Hello Sir,

Its a very bad behavior of your present company, Don't be disappointed for this situation.. You cannot join any job unless the present company give you the resignation letter..
You should go to your HR of your company and ask him to give the resignation letter. and also ask him the reason not taking your resignation..
    He will surely do something...
For this matter i will suggest you to be Brave, Confident and Polite to your HR,...

    Best Of Luck..!!!!

Dear congratulations first of all to you that you have been selected for the post of Probationary Officer in the Government bank through IBPS System and it is really great news that you have qualified in the exam and interview both

Dear such type of things happens with many one and mostly happens when the employees gets something good and huge in his/her life but you should not worry about this and try to make to understand your manager or CMD or the company that - Respected sir, I have been appointed for the post of PO in government bank and i want to join that bank and i have no issue with my current job at all but still i need to get another experience apart from my current profession so that please accept my resignation letter and try to understand about my future and my career.

If your company also does not accept this then you should try to use another way and you should go to that bank office for which you have been selected and ask them to make any other way and they may also help you but if they also do not help you then there is only one way you have which is that - If you have not signed for a long term working in your company then you should go to the court and file a complain against your company then you may get resignation

    All the best

    Hey!
First of all congratulations for being selected as the Probationary officer. On the other hand it is sad to know that your current employer is not giving you your resignation letter. Well in such a situation you should follow a proper channel and do the necessary steps to get your resignation letter. I think according to the terms and conditions of your company you will have to serve a notice period after which you will get your resignation letter.

I am sure that your current employer will give your experience and resignation letter to you only after you serve your notice period. Incase he doesn't do that then you can take legal action against him. No organization holds the right to not give your resignation letter if you are following the proper channel. I am sure that since you have been working with that organization for the past two years you must have built a good rapport with the employer.

There also might be a clause wherein you have to pay a certaion amount of money for leaving the organization if you were under some kind of bond with them. If that is the case then you should clear that amount also as soon as possible. All the best to you for your career as a probationary officer.

Re: Current organisation is not accepting resignation

There are rules behind the employee to tender resignation:-

1.Any employee can submit his/her resignation for various reasons.

2.Any employee has the right to join in better position to other new company.

3.Employer can restrict the employee from refraining tendering resignation for the time being.

4.An employee can not break bond agreement and can not submit resignation unlawfully.

5.A permanent employee can submit resignation with 3 months notice legally.

4.If a company does not accept resignation without law then compant to compensate.

These are the common rules attached with resignation, employer/employee to respect law for their good carieer/survival.

    Thank You,
