    Corrupted work culture, what to do?

    Recently a new telesales joined in our company. For few months she worked properly but then for due advantages she started unprofessional behaviour like getting cosy with male staff which is hampering my office culture. Please guide me what to do as an employer?

    Definitely, you should ask her about this behavior there may be the any issues by your company staff for her. If you are right and she is wrong, you must take actions against her and you should issue a warning letter for her. weather she still do not overcome her unprofessional behavior and getting cosy with make staff. You must terminate her immediately so that you can avoid to be spoil your company environment.

    Dear Aspirant,

    It is a common guess for the female employee if she talks to the male employee.However,the guess is not always false.If you think that the work culture is being spoiled due to her,you have many options to save it.If her job is transferable,you can transfer her somewhere else or make some points of descipline to be maintained by all the employees during working hrs.The points may be

    (1) To maintain the time for working hrs.

    (2) Not to be absent from the duty during duty hrs.

    (3)Not to have un-necessary contact among the employees during duty hrs.

    (4)To take lunch in the time given.

    (5)Impose penalty if any found gossping during duty hrs.

    (6)Issue a note book to all the employees to maintain it daily regarding work done by them.

    Even though if you fail to maintain the descipline in the office,issue a show cause notice to the concerned & take desciplinary action against the concerned employee.The action may include transfer,with held of increament,suspension etc.

    This is certainly highly irresponsible and on the top of that unethical and IMMORAL on the part of your female employee to use her gender to advantage and i this way getting what she wants..She should not be left unpished and certainly should be taught a lesson..We should all respect women but such people disgrace the name of women in the society..So you should certainly see to it that she doesnt destroy your work culture and make your office an immoral place..

    For that firstly you try to tell her indirectly that what she is doing is destroying your work culture and you certainly wont tolerate such nonsense and immoral behaviour..Then observe her for sometime..If she improves and does not continue with such pathetic things then its your win but if she doesnt immediately call her to your office and warn her that its her last warning and if she doesnt stop such manners which are corrupting the work culture of your workplace she may lose her job..Then i am sure she will learn her lesson and stop such things ..

    i feel sorry for your situation that your facing now.if you have any chances to get a better to leave the job. the other you can do is make lady realize whats her fault by talking.

    First of all it is sad to know that a few women today have forgotten the basic ethics of work and have started mixing personal and professional life. These women not only create a bad name for themselves but also for the women in general. Its high time that they realize the responsibility on their sholders when they go out to work.
    Your duty as an employer includes first indirectly telling her that what she is doing is not right and she is spoiling the work environment of you office. You can take into confidence somebody from a managerial position who is on good talking terms with her. You can also let her know what you feel about her behaviour by citing an indirect example to her. That might just make her realize that what she is doing is wrong.
    Incase she doesnt take a cue from your indirect hinting to her then you can be strict and formal with her and send her a letter telling her that she has to follow a certain code of conduct while she is in th eoffice and how her behviour is maligning the work environment of the work place.
    The last step that you can take if such behaviour persists is sending a termination letter stating the reason for termination as her irresponsible behaviour.
    I hope that you do not need to take the last step and lose a good employee. If she is a sensible women then she will realize it in the first instance only. All the best..

    Whenever as company boss you feel due to the work/behaviour of an employee your compani's culture is going to be corrupted you must take proper action to save the company's interest first.as per your statement you new tele sale's girl is doing/breaking company's custom/culture and such corrupted work will hamper your business.you gently issue a letter /notice about her ill doings,charge her to rectify herself.

    Watch 10 to 15 days' if you see she is changed then ok otherwise you talk about the matter with the senior and with your boss and them fix action either to transfer or to terminate legally.

    Hi,

    I can understand your situation.You need to solve these issue as soon as possible.If you have rappot with that particular employee give her clear hints that her behaviour is hampering the work culture of your office.She will check herself unless she is absolutely shameless.If you have no such option,then simply ignore her and her behaviour and concentrated on your own work.The last option is change your job.But I will suggest you not to go for the last option,and rather ignore her in all possible ways.
