    Company taking a lot of work but not giving any increment

    I am an employee in a small firm. During the interview I was told that there was no increment in salary as of now but the company is soon thinking of changing this policy.But now it has been 3 years and the company hasnít changed this policy. The company is taking a lot of work from its employees but not giving them any increment in salary.How to bring about a change in the increment policy of our company?

    Hi friend

    You dont have much say in the amendment of policies of the company. These policies are made and changed at the sole discretion of the management and the employees dont have a say in this. But ofcourse as your company promised you during your placement process that they will soon bring about a change in the increment policy, they should have maintained their promise and should have taken some steps in this direction. But maybe due to some financial constraints they may have not been able to do anything about it.

    So to get more clarity on this issue, you should better go and talk to your manager. Tell him that they have not made any changes in the increment policy of the company as promised to you earlier. Ask him the reason for the same and to tell you if their is any possibility in the future for the increment policy to be changed. I am sure your manager will guide you in the right direction. So if he gives you a negative reply, then its better for you to change your job as there is no growth here which is not good for your future. So find another job which will have good professional growth and where your future is bright.

    Hi..........,

    Suggestion------>
    * You all employees can make a complain letter and speak about the increment hike.
    * You must ask company manager to response soon to that letter.
    * If needed you all can do stick or lock as per need.
    * You as a employee can not change the policy without these process.
    * If felling much unsatisfied then leave the company.

    Dear Aspirant,

    As the cost of living is going day by day high,there must be periodical hike in salary.But it depends upon the financial position of your firm.If the turn over of business is good & the firm is making profit,you must demand the hike in salary.See what the position is.

    In order to demand hike in salary,there must be a meeting among all the employees & proposal be passed to demand the hike in salary.You should demand it jointly.Submit a joint representation to the manager HR or head of the firm to demand hike in salary.You all should give an ultimatum to the management that if the salary is not increased,there will be no work from such date.

    I think,if the management is in a position or increase the salary,it will be considered & ordered & if it is not in a position to increase the salary,you can't do anything except to search for another job or to continue at the fixed salary.

    Hello dear................

    You can not say much to your higher for this .But you have to take some risk regarding this this may harm you but if you want increment then you have to do this.
    First of all you have invite all your employee and then arrange a meeting and you all together take a action and direct go to your head authority and give them it as a written version that if you or your company did not take a serious action in it then you are in the way of strike .another thing you can do that is as you work here for three years then you are very experience in work so you can apply another company.

    the increment policies may not be the same for years, as they have promised while hiring you. The reason behind that is this, that the increments may be stopped according to the companyís profit or the condition of the company at the present age.
    Therefore, youíll have to be patient in order to receive your increment or you will have to wait for the recession to get over. Or if you think that you cannot wait for much longer for the increments, then you should definitely change the company

    Hiii well you cant the policies of the company just you can all do is work. Private companies are like this only . Hard work is the backbone of the company. So you should concentrate on work do it in effective way to get noticed so that they can offer you specail incentives.thanks
