Company policy demands that their employee should at least complete degree?

I am working in a company as an executive. Recently we have got notice saying the employees who has not completed their degree will not be eligible to be employees of this company. And they had been given 2 months notice period. Is there any policy where employees has to finish their degree to stay in this job? Is this policy decided by the government or by the company? Please help me in getting this answer.

Hi. Ya surely the employee should complete his graduation atleast for joining the job as this reflects on his calibre. The employees who dont have any degree are not that efficient and dont have the required credentials for the job.

I think such type of rules and policies exist in most of the companies and plus they are quite reasonable as anyone would want the best for their company and i dont think undergraduates can provide that.

Such rules are formed by the company itself.

Hoping i have solved your query . Thanks

    Hi Friend,
It is completely on private companies discretion to update their policy anytime to keep a bar on educational qualification what they have done.
Hope in your offer letter it was mentioned if company would like to terminate your service it will be done with 2 months notice period or paying off salary for same, if that is the case they are on right path.

As there are lots of human resources with the required skills.
It is easy for the company to find the right resources.
There is a need for at least a degree from the employees for your position like executive.
It is not hte rule but if there is talent available then they will opt for the good resource.

    Hi aspirant,
today most of the person educated, they want more & more money & this money will get due to Professional degree,
then Degree have own importance in Life. as you have mentioned that company decided that to fire those candidate
who have not Degree courses then this totally redicullous thing, company should inform about it in the joining time periods.
You can complaint to labour office.
But if you have a talent & if you will work in past in best way then Company can't fire you that reasons.
    thanking you!!!!!
    Best of Luck.
