    Company offers good salary for the new candidates but no benefits to old employees

    I am a Finance faculty at an Institute from last 3 years. My monthly salary is Rs. 12,000. Now for the new posts institute is offering Rs. 12, 000 as an initial salary. I am feeling bad that being old employees we are not getting that much increment. What should I do?

    it all depends on your company regulations....

    you can not claim on the salary of new comers

    instead all the old employees may make a request letter stating your financial problem to your higher authority......

    This could solve your problem......

    Please remember one thing

    Experience is the essential factor in whatever field you are

    After gaining sufficient experience switch on to new company for good salary hike

    Salary range is high for experienced profiles in many companies

    Until you be in the same company you cannot see much salary hike

    HI,

    Generally it will be depends on your performance and your experience. If your performance is excellent then the company will definitely hike your salary.

    Even you are doing hard work if the company not hike your salary after one year then better to leave the job and you can try in another company with experience certificate.

    Many IT companies are available in India . With experience certificate you can get good salary in top companies.

    Upload your resume in all the websites like : shine.com, naukri.com. monstersindia.com etc...

    Before leaving the job once write a request letter to HR department for increment in your salary. If they not increase then you can try in some other company.

    Sorry to inform you but you cannot raise the question on the salary of the new joiny. However I understand your feeling, I recommend you to please make the group of all of your colleagues and pass a letter regarding this issue to the higher authority in the company, discussing your financial problem. I hope after doing this you will surely receive response from the company and there will be hike in your salary. Moreover, if they did not entertain your request then you can look for a new job, as soon as you get confirmation from any of the good company then you can provide you your resignation with the proper reason of leaving the job due to salary issues to your current company.

    Hi guest, I can understand your problem. It really hurts when 3 years experienced holder (old employees) getting a equal salary as that of new candidates for same post. You must make aware of this fact to your management of the company, so that they review your performance in last 3 years and rise the salary accordingly. All the old employees must request together. If any another company is ready to appoint you with more salary and with good work environment , you must resign current job and join a new company. Thanx

    Try the following which help you:
    1) Give a letter about notifying thisissue to the management level.
    2) The management level look to your past work and increase your salary based on it.
    3) The increased salary may not be high as per your expectations.
    4)If you still do not satisfied with the increased salary quit the job and try for new company.

    Dear guest,
    It is not fair to compare with freshers. May be they signed a bond to serve a particular period. Whatever it may be escalate this issue to higher management as a problem of old employees. Never involve freshers in the discussions.

    Formally request them to increment your salary. If they won't do it then take experience letter and join in another company which gives you expected salary.

    Yes its obvious to feel bad but all the it companies are following these rules that the fresher also get the same amount of salary .

    May be by the end of this year you can expect a increase in your salary

    it depends on your management to take a step to honor old employees and raise their salary according to your work

    As you are experienced enough you can try to change your job and go for a better salary.

    It is a management policy to rise the salary to the employee.It also depends upon your terms & conditions of appointment.It might be mentioned in your appoitment letter for inhancement of salary.You should also check your performance & also you have to see that the conditions with your colleagues.If the condition is same,represent jointly to the management & otherwise alone & request to enhance the salary because the cost of leaving has gone up to a great level.If the management is not considering,better try to get another job.

    First of all I would like to tell you that you cannot raise any issue by keeping new joiners salary in mind, as salary is something which is employers decision.
    But I can understand your problem , in your case I would suggest you to talk to your fellow faculties in this issue first , and then together raise this issue in front of management, if you alone raise this issue management will hardly look into the matter, but if your colleagues together ask them for hike and modification in institutes HR policy for salary, I hope it will leave an impact on management.

    Dear friend:It is true when Company hire experienced/skilled employees as new comer in the company offer good salary as company need skilled and experienced person from outside.Otherwise old employees in a company did not get benefit due to stereo type of work they do,company's requirement they can not ful fil.As a result company compel to hire new experienced/skilled employees outside as company require to enhance company's profitability.

    Your question is very appreciable and completed as well. I understand that, its really hearts us when we don't get any increase in salary by the company after having experience more than 2 years whereas new candidates hire for same pay role by the company. Its totally depend on your performance, education and how is your experience for similar work. I would suggest you to discus regarding this with your company's HR If your performance is excellent then company definitely will consider on this and surely they will increase your salary.

    Hi.. I dont think you can do much regarding the company policies as its not under your control..

    But what you can do is that with your best efforts and capabilities try to do something that will get you noticed amidst the crowd and then the company will certainly give you a hike in salary or some incentive as a token of appreciation..

    Or if still anything doesnt happen try looking for a new job and a better one where growth opportunities are more and better..

    Hello Sir,
    This is bit unfair in your case ,because you cant challenge management decision how much they will decide to pay the freshers and as per today's inflation rate this amount of 12000 is very less.so dont think they are getting more rather you are getting very less though you have experience of three years,so you can claim for salary hike and you should get way more than what you actually getting
    1-show the management your experience and efficiency
    2-show them whatever appreciation you have got during your tenure
    tell them to hike basing on your experience,if they dont then leave the job and join some where else you will surely get many fold salary hike than your current one.

    Sorry to her that, but this is truly under the hand of management, we can't do anything except for requesting. Hardly, you can make this issue known to concerned management in a polite manner and let's see how they react! Even, in my company new employees are offered equivalent salary to the worker working from three or more years!

    In this case, you have the every right to ask for explanation.

    Being senior employees, you should be provided more benefits than juniors.

    Or at least equal benefits to that of juniors.

    You can ask for explanation and know the reason.

    If it seems valid, then leave it.

    Otherwise, you have the every right to get the same benefits.

    As you are an experience person so your salary should be high from them.You can do one thing that is you wright a notice to your boss that if they does not increment the salary then you leave this.

    --> but as the new entries are getting that amount , you should talk to the management about this.
    -->that salary of all the employees must be same according to the present time now.
    -->if a fresher is getting that amount then you must get the amount that they are planning to give to the experienced employee according to this.

    Dear aspirant I have seen your statement you are an 3 years old employee and serving as faculty of finance indeed your post value is obvious then you and your new colleague will get same salary it is odd.As you have the grievance in your mind then you can inform this matter to your immediate boss.If he can assist you about your problem then good as he has the experience more then you.According to his view if you are satisfied then ok.Otherwise you are to take steps boldly.You are to seek new job then you serve notice to the present company then the management may ask the reason of your quit from the company.You express them the true fact.After receiving your expression if they agree to enhance your salary more than your new company then you change your opinion and inform the new company about the news of your negative joining and reason.

    It is sad to hear from you that you are in this sort of condition inspite of being an experienced worker.However,salaries depend on many factors especially the company's norms and also the job posts concerned.But it has to be accepted that injustice has been done to you if new recruitment is done in the similar posts at the starting salary which you get.

    You have two options in this case.One option is talk to the higher authority regarding this issue.The second option that you can opt for is going for some other jobs in other companies.

    If you want to go for the first option,then :-
    -You should have a talk with your boss or the higher authority regarding this issue.
    -Speak about your feelings about this issue as to what appears to be injustice.
    -Try to make them realize that experience also counts.
    -Request them to do justice.
    -Request them for an increment in your salary.

    If you go for the second option,then it will be a better choice.It is better to leave an organization which retards your career growth opportunities and neglects your prospective.You should try for other companies if possible ,switch companies.In this case,your experience will become handy and you can get a much better job elsewhere.

    First thing you must do is that you must talk the concerned authority about the issue.

    As you are a faculty for about three years it is a good time for you to ask the authority about salary hike.

    If they are unable to pay you more than it could be possible that the institute doesn't have much infrastructure so that you could be provided higher pay.

    The best option than you have is to apply to other place/institute that pays you higher according to your qualification, as you are an experienced faculty you

    can get a good job easily.

    You may directly ask for increment from the Dean or Head of that institute because this is your right to ask for hikes in the salary and being a senior teacher in that institute, you deserve for more hikes in your salary because you are teaching from last 3 years and in these three year, you must have received at least 20,000 per month but you are getting only 12,000 INR which are not enough but you should not stay just like that and get together your all colleagues who did not get any type of increment from last 2 or 3 years and go to the head of the institute and tell them about your situation and also ask that why we all are not getting according to our work and all newly appointed teachers are receiving as our equal so it is not good with all of us experienced candidates and if you will be the same then we would have to leave the job soon so please sir give us some increment and try to provide at least 15,000 from this month and also give a fixed amount of increment every year and I am sure that if you will all make a good effect then you will definitely get increment
