    Company is not paying LTA when same was promised while joining the company

    I had joined this company 2 years back and there was element called leave travel allowance. In my offer letter it was written that if I donít take leave for the month then that will counted LTA and same will be provided in cash annually based on the leave pending. I am leaving this company because of better opportunity and the company not ready to LTA pay in cash.

    Hi.. First of all you check your company policies proprly and conform what you are saying is true.. If true then check maybe there's a minimum period of service required from you to avail this LTA facility and you have not yet completed that.. So maybe that's why your company is not ready to pay you for the same..

    If thats not the case then you speak with your HR regarding the same and am sure he will help you in whatever way possible..Or talk to your company's high officials..

    If still you dont get a positive response then you file a complaint against your company..

    Dear Aspirant,

    Generally some companies create such type of problem for out going employees.You need not disclose for leaving the company before you get your benifit.In this connection,better first you apply for the same before giving the notice period.In case of problem,meet the manager HR & request to sanction your leave encashment as per the terms & conditions of the appointment.If you are not entertained well,contact the head of the company & request to get it sanctioned.If you are not sanctioned,you will have two option either to forget it or to proceed legally.Decide your self what to do.

    To my mind,It will be better to resign the job peacefully,get your PF accounts settled,get your experience certificate & satisfy yourself since you have got better apportunity to work elsewhere.
