Company not giving me the experience letter if I donít serve the notice period

This might sound strange but it is happening with me, my last company is not giving me the experience letter because I did not serve the notice period. When I left it as through mutual consent that I did not serve the notice period. What should I do now?

Re: Company not giving me the experience letter if I donít serve the notice period

    Hi friend

If your company gave you their consent when you asked them about not serving the notice period, then they have no right to punish you now for not serving their notice period as it was through their consent that you did not do so. So now they should not forget their promise and thus should not behave in such a manner. As you have not broken any rules and regulations, by your own fault, thus you should not be punished. So you go and speak to your management in this regard and thus let them know that what they have done by indulging in such uncalled for behaviour.

So you go to your previous company's office and tell them that it was by mutual consent that you did not serve your notice period after your resignation and not due to your own mistake, so they have no right to withhold your experience letter in this manner. They should give you your experience letter right now in a decent way otherwise you would be forced to drag them to court which will certainly not be good for the reputation for the company.

If they have given you something in writing regarding the consent for not serving the notice period , then you can use it as an evidence in your favour if you have to go to the court. And also you can show it to your management and then I am sure they will definitely give you your experience letter back. Even if you dont have the proof dont worry friend as you are on the right side and thus certainly will come out as a winner in this situation.

Good luck. I hope you get justice. Thanks
