Colleague goes on leave before an important meeting or presentation

We are a team of three managers in the marketing division and for the last few months we have been noticing that one of our colleague always goes on leave before an important meeting or presentation. We have to then take over her work also which makes extra work for us without any credit. How do we solve this problem?

    Hi buddy

I think that your colleague should understand his responsibility and should know its team effort which help in getting a task successfully done. He should know that he should help his colleagues rather than putting more burden on them. He should not let his team members suffer by skipping important meetings and presentations.

The best way to tackle this problem would be that you both make your coleague understand that you require him to be presnt during the important meetings and presentations so that you both are not overburdened and all the work goes on smoothly. He should understand his responsibilities and should help you out by equal division of tasks between the three . I hope he will understand you and from next time shoulder his responsibilities rather than shirking away from them.

But if he still doesnt improve then it would be better if you complain your senior authorities regarding this matter and i am sure they will take appropriate action action against him.

    Good luck and God Bless

    hello.

he should understand his responsibilities and should you out by equal

if they still does not improve give a complain to you higher authorities.

    good luck
