Can a Railway doctor prescribes the medicines which are not available in hospital?

I am a railway employee. My wife is pregnant. The doctor of a private nursing home prescribes some medicines which are very costly & those medicines are not available in railway hospital. Can the railway doctor prescribes those medicines for me & make them available for me?

    Dear Aspirant,

Your demand is not easy. The pvt. or govt. hospital doctors are free to prescribe the medicines which may or may not be available in the hospital.Generally it is seen that the medicines which are not available in the hospital are advised to purchage from the out side.Of course there is a provision for reimbursement of the cost if the patient is in indoor & the medicines have been prescribed by the govt hospital doctor.

You can not get the medicines from the hospital,If it is prescribed by the pvt. doctor

However, you may request to see your case in the hospital. The doctor may give you some option to purchase another company medicines with same combination at lower cost.It is seen that the medicines with the same combination of different company vary in costs.

Hope you will get success in your object.

    Thanks & good luck.

    Hello Sir....

You should not prescribe the medicine which is not available in the medicine store of Govt Hospital...
You should command the same component medicine which is available in Medical Store of Govt Hospital...

You should remember that you are not a private doctor, You are a govt. doctor here...
But if some medicine in not available in the Govt. store then you may command for the medicine...

    Thanking You.....

    Dear Friend,

Of Course! you may take advise and ask them to prescribes those medicines for you to and make them to available for you. Surely they will give you the right suggestion and tell you the another company medicines with same combination at lower cost. As we already know that mostly medicines are purchased by customers from private medical shops due to now available all the medicines in hospital.

    Hello friend................

I think if you can't bare the cost's of the medicine, then better to consult your railway doctor.
As both the doctor's refer the same medicine but it's brand name and will vary. Moreover you can get the medicines in rail hospital itself.
So, the task is simple. But if you don't get the medicine you can get it outside as the cost is also seems to be low and it will refundable by govt.
As we know any thing vary its cost depending on its brand name as the drug is same.
So, better to consult your railway doctor.

    All the Best..........................

    Hi friend

Surely a doctor who is registered as an RMP under the medical council of India as well as the State council can prescribe any medicines which are related to his field..Of course a ayurvedic doctor cant prescribe allopathic medicines and vice versa but they can prescribe any medicines related to their field whether they are available nearby or not is your concern and if you think you cant procure them from anywhere nearby then you should tell your doctor regarding this and then he will certainly be able to help you by giving an alternative..

So its better if you go and tell your doctor about this problem about the medicines not being available nearby so i am sure he will help you by either telling where you can find them nearby or by giving you the best altrernative possible..

A doctor always thinks about his patiends and gives them the best medicines which will help them to recover fast with minimal side efects..So you shouldn't certainly doubt his intentions but its better you talk to him and relieve yourself of this burden..

    Good luck..God Bless

DOCTOR'S MOTTO TO CURE ILL PEOPLE AS QUICKLY ASN CHA POSSIBLE SO HE PRESCRIBED THE MEDICINE WHICH IS BEST EFFECTIVE THEN THE MEDICINE AVAILABLE IN HOSPITAL.SO,IN THE GOOD SENSE HE OF COURSE HAS THE OPTION TO EXERCISE A GOOD ONE.

IN CASE THE PAITENT IS VERY POOR THEN DOCTOR CAN CHANGE HIS PRESCRIPTION AND CAN WRITE MEDICINES WHICH IS AVAILABLE IN RAILWAY HOSPITAL i.e "something is better then nothing".ok

    THANK YOU,

    Hello,

Since you have consulted a private doctor,so he has prescribed medicines which are costly.Sadly,he is not aware of the fact whether they are available in Railway hospitals or not.Nor it is his responsibility to look into this matter while prescribing such medicines. If you have consulted any doctor from Railway doctor, then he would have prescribed something keeping in mind of the stock available in the hospital. As the railway doctor has not prescribed your wife any such medicine,he cannot arrange the same from outside. However you can get reimbursement,if any such medicine is prescribed by Railway doctor only.

You have 2 options-either you can ask the private doctor to give less costlier medicines or else you have to consult Railway doctor only to get the medicines from hospital only.

    Thank you

Your demand isn't simple. The pvt. or govt. hospital doctors are engaged to bring down the medicines which can or might not be accessible within the hospital.Generally it's seen that the medicines that don't seem to be accessible within the hospital ar suggested to purchase from the out aspect.Of course there's a provision for compensation of the price if the patient is in indoor & the medicines are prescribed by the govt. hospital doctor.

you'll not get the medicines from the hospital,If it's prescribed by the pvt. doctor

However, you may request to examine your case within the hospital. The doctor might offer you some choice to purchase another company medicines with same combination at lower value. It is seen that the medicines with identical combination of various company vary in prices.
You should not bring down medication that isn't accessible within the medicine store of Govt Hospital...
you must command identical part medication that is out there in Medical Store of Govt Hospital...

you must bear in mind that you just don't seem to be a non-public doctor, you're a govt. doctor here...
however if some medication in not accessible within the Govt. store then you will command for the medication...
you may take advise and raise them to prescribes those medicines for you to and create them to accessible for you. for certain they're going to offer you the correct suggestion and tell you the another company medicines with same combination at lower value. As we have a tendency to already recognize that principally medicines ar purchased by customers from personal medical retailers because of currently accessible all the medicines in hospital.
Surely a doctor United Nations agency is registered as Associate in Nursing RMP underneath the medical council of Asian country moreover because the State council will bring down any medicines that ar associated with his field..Of course a ayurvedic doctor cant bring down medical care medicines and contrariwise however they'll bring down any medicines associated with their field whether or not they ar accessible near or not is your concern and if you think that you cant procure them from anyplace near then you must tell your doctor relating to this so he will definitely be able to assist you by giving another..

therefore its higher if you go and tell your doctor regarding this downside regarding the medicines not being accessible near therefore i'm positive he can assist you by either telling wherever you'll notice them near or by supplying you with the simplest altrernative potential..

A doctor continuously cares his patiends and offers them the simplest medicines which is able to facilitate them to recover quick with bottom aspect efects..So you should not actually doubt his intentions however its higher you discuss with him and relieve yourself of this burden..
