Can I quit the job if my company is going to sell my department to other vendor?

It is really sad that my company is not going well in recent days and the department which I am working is in serious loss and they are planning to sell it to other vendor so more likely we ll moved too. So will it be OK for me to quit the job now and search for other opportunities? Can you please provide me details in this? Your advices are highly appreciable.

Hi..I think you should certainly leave your job if you think it is not good for your career..You certainly ought to find a job where is good growth for you professionally so if you feel that this is not helping you professionally you must quit this job and look for good jobs..

Follow the proper procedure for resigning..Check your company's policies for the same..Dont do something illegal for which you have to pay later on..

Start looking for a new job from now on as then by the time you leave your present job by completing your notice period then you will have a job in hand..Search newpapers for new jobs..Also look on online portals like Naukri.com, monster.com etc.. Prepare your resume professionally and get help for it to make it more impressive..Then forward your resume to various companies and hoping you get a good job of your calibre..

Good luck for your future. THanks

It happens occasionally as for a company to sell its authority or copy right to another company. This can be of many reasons like when the company decides to alter its products, motive or policies, and when this happens the employees of the previous company are replaced by the new owner. So even if you don't resign there are possibilities for you to lose the job if what you said happens.
But since you are experienced there won't be much trouble involved in seeking for another job.
Stay focused no matter what happens.

As you mentioned accordingly i would like to say if such situation arise then you have nothing to do.iurt is the company's choice company must not create such agreement/ bond that existing employees are to be compensated in case of company's sudden liquidation due to selling/insovency etc.

So dear you can not quit, sometimes quit or like termination is sure if new purchasing company favour's the existing employee then you can stay,if they ignore to pay salary at the standard rate then you can quit.so take the decision as per your situation/circumstances/need.

    Hi,

There is no harm in changing your job.

You have good solid reason to tell it in your interview.

If your department is being shifted to your company's vendor, it is quite definite that the vendor company is smaller than your company.

So, it's better to look for a new job in a company better than your's.

I think you ought to actually leave your job if you think that it's not smart for your career..You actually need to realize employment wherever is nice growth for you professionally therefore if you're feeling that this can be not serving to you professionally you need to quit this job and appearance permanently jobs..

Follow the correct procedure for resigning..Check your company's policies for constant..Dont do one thing outlawed that you've got to pay presently..

Begin searching for a replacement job from currently on as then by the time you permit your gift job by finishing your notice amount then you'll have employment in hand..Search newspapers for brand new jobs..Also look on on line portals like Naukri.com, monster.com etc.. Prepare your resume professionally and find facilitate for it to form it a lot of spectacular..Then forward your resume to numerous firms and hoping you get an honest job of your caliber.

It happens sometimes as for a corporation to sell its authority or copy right to a different company. this will be of the many reasons like once the corporate decides to change its product, motive or policies, and once this happens the staff of the previous company square measure replaced by the new owner. therefore though you do not resign there square measure potentialities for you to lose the work if what you same happens.
However since you're toughened there will not be a lot of bother concerned in seeking for one more job.
keep targeted regardless of what happens.

As you mentioned consequently i'd wish to say if such state of affairs arise then you've got nothing to try to to.hurt is that the company's selection company should not produce such agreement/ bond that existing staff square measure to be salaried just in case of company's fast liquidation thanks to selling/insolvency etc.

Therefore expensive you'll not quit, sometimes quit or like termination is certain if new buying company favor's the present worker then you'll keep,if they ignore to pay pay at the quality rate then you'll quit.so take the choice as per your situation/circumstances/need.

First thing when you know that such a scenario is there, so you should start looking for the job.
    Dont quit in a haste.
If you get a good job, than only quit
or else wait for your company bosses to see what they are offereing to lay if your existing department is closed or sold off.
