Boss wants me to select two best freshers based on their performance in the past 2 months

I am a senior employee in a government organisation. Recently my boss called me to his office and told me to select two best freshers based on their performance in the last 2 months. Now the problem is that most of the freshers are very close to me , thus I am confused as to how I will be choosing among them. What to do in such a situation?

    Hello,

You have been given an important responsibility ,so you should take it seriously to select the best. Now,in the process of selection, you must keep aside all personal relation/bond and simply focus to select the best 2 out of the lot.To select the best of the lot is not an easy task, but the you have to make sure that you are not biased towards anyone.Selection must be solely on the basis of performance they have showed up in the last 2 months. You can collect their performance report for the last 2 months that will help you to decide. If youremain unbiased then nobody will complain regarding your selection.

    Hello,

As you are trusted by your boss to make fair judgement , you should keep his trust.
Though many freshers are close to you yet you should select the 2 best freshers on the basis of there performance.
Being close or being friends with someone does not mean you should profitable them by unfair means.

So, do not worry about what others will think about you.
You should make the correct judgement and take the right decision.
You should always be true to your work.
Partiality will not gain you anything, except bad reputation.

Make a fair decision on those freshers who are sincere and good performers in there work.

    Good luck
