Boss is treating the employees like children

I am working in a government organisation. Our boss is a very good natured person but he has a very bad habit and i.e. he treats his employees like children. He always spoonfeeds them and keeps telling them what to do and what not to do at every step of the project. How to deal with such a boss who never lets us do our own thing?

See every boss have his own way of dealing with employees under him.

It is a part of there nature and you won't be able to rectify it. So instead you will have to think on other ways by which you can improve yourself in

    the aforesaid situation.

Don't see it as his bad habit, actually he wants every thing to be perfectly done so that there might not be any problem in any critical situation.

This is his way of doing work.

Actually this will help in learning things much fast also as you won't have to first commit a mistake. Somethings cannot be learnt without experience

and as he is an experienced person you are lucky to learn through his experience.

So try to learn as much as possible from your boss as such practical experiences are not learnt from books. This will help you a lot in your professional

    career.

    hello,
your boss is so a good care taker and he wants each work should be done in a very careful manner.his character was good and i think he is having a humble personality.but you said it is like spoonfeeding and he is not giving a chance for you to express your thoughts and ideas so it is somewhat bad thing about him.everyone should be given a chance to prove their talent and how to deal with it.so convince your boss by saying that "sir, you are a humble person but we want a chance to prove our talent.so give us one chance and we will prove it who we are and what we can do".
    thank you.......

    Hello friend

It is very nice to hear that your boss is very good nature person and also he helps the employees like children, see friend i think you are very lucky in this matter because there are many who are still complaining against their boss, their bad behavior their torture.

So i think you should feel lucky that you have got so nice person as your boss which is very rare now a days.it is nice that he is always ready for the help of the employees in their project it is just because he cares for you all,he wants to make you learn faster also he wants the project perfect without any mistake.

But i agree with your point that he should do this frequently as employees will become dependent on him which is very bad.you all should get the chance to prove yourselves and show that you can also do every thing without any help and get the chance to show your talent.

You should go to your boss and talk about it personally and ask him to give them chance to prove yourselves .ask him to help but in limited manner when someone really comes to you for your help.

    All the best
    Thank you.
