Boss not giving enough liberty and freedom at work

I am working as a PA in a private company. Being a PA of my boss,my boss does not give enough liberty and freedom in my work. He interferes in my work too much and takes all the decisions on his own. It seems that actually he does not require any PA. How to work satisfactorily in this circumstances?

    Dear Friend,
You are working as PA to him. So, it's not your job to take decisions. It's his job to take whatever decisions he want and your job is to assist him whenever he asks you to. Now, it is not correct on his behalf to interfere in your work and make your working difficult. So, you should wait for the time when he is free, talk to him clearly and explain all the problems you are facing but in a polite manner. Now, if he is ready to change for you, then you are lucky else you may request higher authority to switch your post to some other department or with other employee.

    Take care.

In these kind of situations you need to be calm down as you should not worry about these things just you need to worry about your salary, as you are working for that, your boss doesnot like your ideas then its his problem your work is to give ideas, rest is all on your boss, if he want to make his own decision then let him do that why are you worry about that, as it will make you weak on your work. You need to be always good on your work and also be smiling as these all things are the part of professional life. And also you should not think all the things that happened in office in your home because that will lead you to depression. If you want that you want to take your own decisions then you should leave that job and work anywhere else but remember one thing when you become a boss then these things also comes to you and that time your PA will ask these questions in the forum.

    Dear Aspirant,

As your designation PA indicates personal Assistant. It means you are required to assist your boss in discharge of his office duty. But in practical you may need to assist in his personal work also.In practical you are required to be in office whenever your boss is in office & in his absence also.

Here problem is that your boss is interfering too much in your work.In this case you have option wither to object for it or let the matter go.If you want to be mentally free, let your boss do his duty without your consent & don't put your sign in the concerned paper. In this case your boss will be entirely responsible for any irregularity,if found later.

    thanks & good luck.
