    Boss hold a lady employee after the working time is over

    In working MCA company. My boss always hold a lady employees after the scheduled time is over. He always compel the lady employees to stay with him after working time is over. How can I report regarding this matter to higher authority. Any legal action can take against him?

    sir, firstly you should talk about this with the lady employees and get there views regarding the whole situation. as to take a major step you should need there views as well as there support. as if the lady employees are not feeling anything wrong about this . then complaining about this can have major impact on your career. so , you should have there views and support and then write a letter to higher official regarding this matter. with the signature of whole team or group of members.
    this will increase value of your complaint and also save you from its harmful effects , if occur any . sir, you can't take any legal action against him , legal action would be taken by company higher authority.

    Friend according to your statement your boss always hold a lady employee after the scheduled time of working is over.He always compel the lady employees to stay with him after office hour.You are thinking to report this matter to the higher authority.And also thinking to take a legal action against the boss.

    According to statement indeed it is very ugly thing you boss is not correct and legally whether he can hold a lady after working hours it is doubtful.If the concerned lady is not in a position to support you then you can not take a legal action.Boss will show needful reasons because as per your experience there are jobs which a lady can perform well.Then what you are thinking it will be proved otherwise, they will charge you ,saying it is not your business office boss can do
    many progressive things for the welfare of the company.

    Then I think you are a mere employee your point is socially ok but who will support you, if you go to tell your boss directly then you will be looser in respect
    of everything, your report will be bad, you will never get skill certificate, you will never get due favour from your boss.So friend you alone can not do anything
    directly.It is better first you collect a letter from the lady that she is not wiling to assist boss after office hours,due to pressure she is compelled to work.After that you can lodge the complaint to the higher authority without mentioning your name, also mention if you focus your name then your service may terminated

    Getting such an important complaint higher authority can take severe action against the concerned boss, so you can place complaint silently, without proof.

    No, right now you have to report this matter to the higher authority. Your boss has no right to to force his female employees to stay at office. He is doing this by violating the office norms. He shoyld be stopped at once. The higher authority should take some action against this fellow otherwise there will be no equality among the work force at office. But if they ignore your report only then you can take legal action to your boss. In the mean time you should talk to a lawyer to find out what are the options available for the women employees in a situation like this.

    Its a very serious problem as holding a lady employee after the working hour is very suspicious act. But you cannot take any action regarding that. SO first you need to talk to the lady employee and ask everything what happens after the work or what are his intentions. If she feels comfortable then there's nothing you can do rather you if you complain then you will put yourself into trouble. So first take her decision and if she agree with you then you can talk with the higher authority and complain about this.

    It is very bad from the part of your boss.This type of actions will creates doubts.After the working hours all the employees should leave the office but your boss is asking a lady employee to stay in the office for extra time.So,a necessary action should be taken on that boss.For this first of all you have to know what is happening after the working hours.If you give complaint with out knowing any thing then it will create problem to the lady employee.so, ask the lady employee about that matter if she complaint you against the boss action.then you have to give complaint against the boss with the approval of all the staff member to the higher authorities.If all the employees will go against the boss then he cannot take any action on you.Legal action can be taken only by the higher authorities but not by you.

    Hello, No legal action can be taken unless any actual incident takes place in this regard. Just by anticipating something, you cannot take a legal action. From what you have posted, I am having a strong feeling that your boss is such a person who doesnot have a good moral character. And the fact that he asks to stay back a lady after office hours, is absolutely purposeful. The female workers should speak up against this. If they feel lack of security, then they are the ones who have to speak up. You can only back them up. Other than that you have nothing else to do. You can ask them to put this issue before the higher authorities,so that they can take measure accordingly.

    This is very bad to know that the boss of your company force lady employees to stay in office after working time is over and this shows that your boss is really bad at his habits because this is not good at all for the post where he is on and if we see duties and responsibilities then we would find out that all the bosses and managers of various companies sends female employees to their home just after completion of working hours so we can not think anything behind this because there may be various reasons that we can not expect

    First of all you should have good behavior with those ladies who are staying in office after completing working hours then you should ask the reason that why don't you leave office after being official leave everyday so they will tell you reason and if the boss is really forcing them to stay there after working time then you may be right but if they say that they are just for complete more work and earn money or etc. then you should understand that there is consent behind that and ladies are agree to stay there so do not interfere and force them for that and if they say that boss ask them to stay forcibly then you should help them

    Make it sure that they are ready to go to women court so they could file a complain against that but before that you should say to her that talk to the boss to not force you to stay after working hours and make excuses to go home when they stop you for work because if you will directly offer her to go to court then she may loose her job that is why be with her for sometime and suggest some good ways under that you need to suggest them that all you female candidates should write a complaint letter in that mention your sorrow and query and send it to the higher authorities so they will take legal action against this and if you feel compulsion that you have to stay otherwise you will loose the job then you should find out another job after getting payment so you will not get this type of environment there

    Hello Aspirant,

    It may be true that your boss may hold a lady employee after the duty hrs.But the objection should be from the concerned lady employee to the higher authority,if the concerned lady is not interested.But if both of them are interested in each other,others can't do any thing,because being boss,he may misuse the official capacity to hide the personal matter & some lady may be agree to be with him.

    So you need not worry.Let the concerned lady report to the higher authority otherwise you may be sacked by your boss.
