Boss getting into personal details and trying to dictate terms

My former boss is in good terms with my new boss. Off recent, my boss had been questioning a lot about my life. It makes me uncomfortable as he is constantly commenting on behaviour and trying to dictate terms. Please share a solution to handle this problem.

Re: Boss getting into personal details and trying to dictate terms

    Hi aspirant

As he is your boss, so you should try to deal with his ways and not show such rebellion against him. Ofcourse it is very wrong of him to ask you about your personal life as he has no right to do so. also he should definitely not dictate terms to you and misuse his power in such a way. He should try to help his employees rather than creating problems for them in this way. You should definitely talk to him once and clear all this with him.

Tell your boss that you request him not to ask you questions about your personal life as you are not comfortable answering them. You hope that he will not do so in future and thus will not make you so embarassed. Also you hope that he will not dictate terms to you and will rather help you out in your problems. You hope that you will look upto him in the future .

I hope that your boss will get the point in your words and hopefully will never repeat such a behaviour with you again. Otherwise you should go and report this matter to the higher authorities if you want to as they will definitely help you in this regard. I hope you get my point. Good luck and thanks

    hi
these are the regular base problems in many of the companies and the best way to get rid of these problems is that you should avoid your manager coming to you and asking you questions about yourself. If he calls you in his office then you should always go when somebody is already present in that room. And if you find yourself alone, make any excuses and get out of his company. The ignorance will definitely help

    hiii,
it is really absurd that your boss is asking you about your personal details and even he is passing comments. he must understand he is at a reputed position this type of things doesnt give a good impression about him and the company. you must not firstly react to his all nonsense things he is doing. he just want your one reaction so that he can make it an issue with his comments. so stop paying attention to him.

after this even if he doesnt stop, you should deal it silently. submit an application against him to the HR department. tell them you will report it to the police if no action would be taken against him. this will for sure would be taken into action.
    thanks

    Dear Aspirant,

It is not good to interfere in to your personal matter by your boss, since he is your boss for official purpose. You can tackle the problem either by convincing him not to do so or don't care his comments on your personal issue. You can deny it.

If you feel more inconvenient, you may try to get transferred to some other place,if possible. If not,if you still feel the same problem, you can report the matter to still superior boss against your boss, because each & every individual has got freedom to live under the constitution of India & no one has right to violate it.

Hope your problem will be solved.

    Thanks & good luck.

Dear personal is always personal but professional life is something different and as you have mentioned that your boss is trying to enter into your personal details and wants to know in depth and more about your personal life but in this case you should not stop yourself because if you will not raise your voice against this then you will face same problem in future at your every single moment and this will effect your life and your concentration badly that is why you should directly tell to your new boss that sir please do not ask me about my personal life because I do not wants to share anything with anyone about my personal life and do not ask me anything related to this in future because your questions will effect my career and I consider you as the great person and sir in my life and I would learn so many things during my work and job and will get experience so please let me live in my professional life because I do not want to include my professional career into personal life

    All the best
