Boss angry with me because I forgot his birthday owing to my long absence of one week from work

I work with a private consulting company. My boss gives a lot of importance to anniversaries and birthdays and always mixes personal and professional life. I was on a long leave of one week owing to an illness. During that week it was the birthday of my boss. I forgot to wish him for obvious reasons. After a week when I returned to the office my boss is not talking to me properly and unnecessarily venting his nager on me in one form or the other. What can I do to improve the situation?

    hello friend,
It is very good that your boss always mixes personal and professional life. You should feel good that your boss has good relation with you.
But due to the past incident your boss is angry with you, you haven't wished him for the obvious reasons it means it was not your fault. But at the same time it is also right that he wasn't paid attention on his birthday. So in order to get back to track what i suggest is that you should organize a small surprise party.
Plan this party with some of your good employee friends. Make your boss feel great and make this day memorable.
This will refresh his mind and as you have suffered from illness it will relax you too.
Hopefully all your relations gets settled sooner.

    Hello,

Well to cool his temper you should talk to him personally and say that you
are sorry for not being able to attend his birthday. He should buy some nice
gifts and present it to your boss. Don't forget to state that you were supposed
to give that him on his birthday but you could not beacuase of ill health. In
this situation applology is the best medicine.

    Bye,

    hello,
you may directly go to your boss with a good gift and say him that he is really felt bad and he is sorry regarding the issue and from next time onwards you will remember it and you will definitely wish with a good surprise.
arrage a party from your side and invite your boss and bring a cake for him and make him to cut it.this may somewhat help you.
or give him a private party, you and you boss and say him his wishes.
    thank you.................

Oh i understand , this must be a situation where you although dont want to do unnecessary things but you have to do them just in order to save the time!
Well you can do one thing.
Get an Archies greeting card having a quotation of wishing happy birthday along with the mentioned sorry inside for not wishing the birthday boy on the appropriate time.
Be fair and open saying that you could not wish and you regret but your true wishes and regards are always there with him.
keep a smile and a dairy milk silk and along with the card and for sure your boss wont rebuke you for this!

    good luck

If you think that your boss is not talking to you because of the forgetting the birtday of him then you must apologise to him for that and give him the perfect gift of apology and also explain the circumstances that occurs in your life so that you were not able to wish him on the birthday.
This will break the wall of silence between you and boss, after that he will also accept the gift and talk to you like it was previous.
So always apologise for your mistakes as it shows that you are capable of handling the tough situation, because who accepts the mistake is the best person in the world but those who never accept the mistakes are very egoist person and their life is full of sorrows.
So dont be egoist and apologise for the mistake and also commit that next time you will not do such mistakes again in your life.
After all you are working under your boss if you give some respect like this then he will also become happy.
As the golden rule always explain that hold the boss *** he will take you to very long distance. never leave the hand of your boss
