    Hello Friend,

Well, in all goverment examination your age will be considered based on your birth certificate. I am quite amazed to know that there is a discrepancy on your date of birth. Your birth certificate has one date of birth and other documents have another date of birth. In that case you have to show your other other documents and forget your birth certificate. If you show them during the time of interview they will ask you a barrage of questions such as Why did you not stick to your actual date of birth? Why did you maintain two date of birth knowing fully well that it is illegal? Either you prepare to answer this sort of question or show your other documents such as pan card, driver license etc.

    Bye,

According to the government of india if you are applying for any of the competetive examination then you must have to write the age according to the class 10th marksheet because that is the original proof of the birth day as at the time of the verification they will check the date of birth with your marksheet of class 10th so you need to give the birth day according to that only because it will be not good for you to give the wrong DOB in the Civil services examination form.
If the DOB does not match with the 10th marksheet then it will be the trouble for you in the future as its a very sensitive issue and also raise the question on the candidature .
So always play safe in these issues as this is the matter of candidature , its better to take the precaution rather than taking the risks.
So if you like to clear this thing then you can go to any of the civil service s aspirants or the coaching institute to clarify this problem because its not a good thing.

Dear if you want to confirm about the date of birth then you should see the marksheet of the class 10th because that is considered valid and unique

If you see that your documents are being verified including date of birth then remember that the panel of expert will check your date of birth according to the DOB mentioned at the score card and certificate of class 10th because that is the starting of your main career and first proof of date of birth is the only score card of class 10th provided from a reputed board

If you got wrong date of birth on other certificates and not matching with the DOB that is on the certificate of class 10th then you should take it serious soon because you are talking about IAS examination even other recruitment process also verifies date or birth that is mentioned at the certificate of class 10th that is why remember that if you are applying for any examination then mention the date of birth that is on class 10th certificate and do not enter any other or different date of birth otherwise you will get problems in future after recruitment

You should apply for the new certificate of classes that are showing wrong date of birth and demand for the new certificate with correction in date of birth and mention the proper cause and board/ university will give you new certificate within 15 days of the application and charge for few rupees so you should pay and just get new certificates and keep all the certificates secure for future reference

    All the best
