    Biased appraisal woes following critical incident method of performance

    Even though for every annual appraisal in our multinational company, critical incident method of performance is followed. Editors’ team is supposed to identify and describe the events where an employee performed well or need improvement. Our news editor has written horrendous report about all sub editors. It will ruin our career prospects. Please suggest what needs to be done.

    Your news editor is definitely guilty inthis matter and needs to be taught a lesson. You should definitely not withstand such injustice happening with you which can ruin your future completely and rather try to take care of this situation and get this matter cleared as soon as possible. If you had performed well and deserved an appraisal then your nrews editor has no right to deal with all his sub editors in such a manner by writing horrendous reports about them. You should talk to him and thus get your problem and woes solved.

    You should tell her that you all have performed well during the last year but he has written horrendous reports regatrding your performance . You all wanted the reason for such injustice with them and that what had they done to him that he is hell bent on ruining their careers. You hope that he will understand your plight too and thus never in such things again. You really hope that he could tell them their shortrcomings so that the next time they can get good appraisals and thus get appreciation for the same.

    I hope your editor realises his mistake and the sarcastic nature of your remarks make him feel ashamed of himself. Good luck
