    Bias towards the female employees

I am working in a small private company. In our company majority of employees are males and our manager is always biased towards male employees when it comes to promotion. Even if we deserve the promotion more than our male colleagues, we donít get it and they are always given first preference. I donít think it is fair. How can we prevent such injustice?

    Hello Aspirant,

In order to have mental peace with regard to get promotion, you must know the promotion policy of your company.

Generally, promotion is given on the preference of seniority among equal designated employees.

When your junior has got promotion, you should give a joint representation to the head of the company stating the problem clearly.

If your demand is entertained and you too are promoted, then it is OK otherwise you can take the matter to civil court jointly or you have to work in the same situation.

Another option left to you is to get another job. So,see the situation and act accordingly.

    Thanks and good luck.

Re: Bias towards the female employees

    Hello MS/Madam

you if your Boss is doing so,than he is completely wrong in this scenerion.
there should not be bias in gender in such a professional place.

it seems that your boss is doing something wrong for all the females.
so,you can just ask your boss in a gentle manner,
what is the procedure to be promoted for the females in this office.
your boss will understand why you are asking for this,
and the word female will certainley directs him to the point which you want to convey to him.
this will clear your problem without giving any ba impression on your boss.
