    Bias being practiced in the payment of salary

    I am working in a software company. Recently I have noticed that there is bias being practiced in the payment of salary in our company.Some of the employees are getting their salary on time and some employees like me and my friend are getting our salaries late or even not being paid for a month or two in between. What can we do in such a situation?

    Hi friend

    Such bias in your company is totally uncalled for and whoever is responsible for such a thing should definitely be punished. Your company has no right to practice such kind of a bias in giving the salary to its employees. All the employees work equally hard and thus they all deserve to be paid their salaries on time and thus your company has no right to delay the same under any circumstances. Even if it delays the salaries of the employees due to some financial reasons , then it should be the same for all the employees and no bias should be brought in between.

    So you should definitely not deal with such injustice and thus go and complain your manager in this regard. Tell him that you have noticing from a couple of months the bias being practiced by the company with regards to the sakary being given to the employees.You have noticed that some of the employees are getting their salaries on time while others like you and your friend are getting it late or even not being paid for a month or so in between. The management should see to it that such bias should be stopped right now as this is creating dissatisfaction among the employees and is also creating a divide among them. Also this is not good for the reputation of the company and if such things continue you would be forced to report then to the higher authorities.

    I am sure your manager will get your point and will hopefully stop this bias . They will certainly realise that what they are doing is absolutely wrong and this can really harm their company's furture prospects if the employees show resentment in such a maner and thus not give their full attention to their work. Also if word goes out, then its reputation can be in danger and then it will be very difficult for it to regain its lost reputation.

    But if still nothing is done, you should definitely report to the higher authorities and I am sure they will definitely help you. I hope you get justice in this case. Good luck and Thanks
