Being an intern in a government hospital doctor not ready to answer any of my queries

I am working as an intern in a government hospital. Recently I was not feeling well and so decided to consult one of the doctors in our hospital. He just gave me the medicines but when I tried to ask him to explain about my problem, he didn’t answer my query and coldly told me to leave. How to deal with such behaviour?

    Hello,

You are a new comer so they are threating you likne this. You should have
patience to deal with such situation. Whenever we switch to a new role in
a new office environment it takes a lot of time for us and the employees to
get used to each other. So don't worry everything will be fine.

    Bye,

Actually it is not the problem of the doctor, in government hospitals as an intern you will observe that there are so many patients that you can't give

sufficient time to a single patient.

Also if you try to give than you won't be able to treat every one.

So instead of explaining any thing the doctors just concentrate on treating the disease and consulting maximum number of patients as possible.

You must not think of it much as you can know it much better when you yourself will start practicing in hospitals.

As you are working as an intern than you can ask those doctors when they are free.

Never get shy, and don't think of whether they will respond or not. This is your learning time so try to get maximum you can get.

As more you will learn it would be better for you.

    Hi aspirant

The doctor definitely should have behaved properly with you and should have definitely satisfied all your queries. He should definitely not have dismissed you in this manner and should have answered all your doubts. You should definitely not sit quietly and try and talk this matter out with your management. All the doctors should be advised to behave properly with the patients and should not deal so roughly with them.

You should tell your management that you have noticed that many doctors in this hospital are not behaving properly with the patients. They are neglecting the patients and not answering all the queries properly. They should make it a point to satisfy all their doubts and not behave with them in such a rude manner. You hope that they will look into this matter and thus solve this problem otherwise this will not be good for the hospital.

I am sure that your management will definitely help you in resolving this manner. Good luck
