Being given the task of helping all the freshers by my boss

I am working in a government organisation. Recently my boss called me and told me to help all the freshers and take care of their problems. But it has been only a year since I joined this company and I think that he should have given this task to a more senior employee. I am feeling very nervous now. How to deal with such a situation?

    hello,
according to my view whatever you learned in the one year time period you try to teach them.if they raise any questions you try solve or give them the information by consulting any senior officer in your office take it as challenging work to prove yourself.

    Hello Aspirant,

Congratulations for being an employee in a govt.organisation.You must remember that heavy responsibility is given to an employee in two cases, one in case when the concerned employee is capable of doing that work & next is when an employee is not capable of doing that particular work so that he can be trapped for not being capable of doing so.

I think you are capable of doing so & it is not so difficult to do any work provided you have interest in doing any work. The work requires interest, time ,money, knowledge etc to be done.So make a list of works to be done & then plan a stategy how to do those works.Get help from your boss & seniors to do your work properly.

Getting nervous is not a solution to face any situation.Be bold to face any situations.

    Good luck.

its good and you should be very proud in your personal way that you have been given the responsibility to help and guide your juniors.. this is your opportunity that you grab it as to make a good impression on your boss because if your juniors do well and you should also guide in doing the best as possible.. don't deny this opportunity because this will always create bad impression on you.. be cool and calm just guide them as best way possible, that's it rest depends on the juniors potential to deliver...

Dear first of all the good news is that you are working in a government organization where no tension about work means no target at all in the organization means you have to do your work only and care about the profit and good reports from yourself and in this case you shouldn't take any type of tension because you have been there for a year that is a good period and you have learned everything whatever you was taught by the senior employees and learned in the training period so you should not worry about your work and be confident in your work and knowledge because after being senior in the company, if you will not be confident about your knowledge and experience in the organization then you are nothing in the organization so first you should try to make yourself confident for your work

When your boss has selected you to give training for freshers then you should consider that you are lucky that your boss only selected you among all the senior employees means you deserve to teach so many things to newly appointed candidates in the organization and no one can teach better than you so this is your responsibility and you will have to perform well because you have to show your boss that you are the best one for this type of works and will give you some more and high level responsibilities for you and you will be the best in front of your boss so you should take it positive and do not say anything to your boss because this time is to identify your strength and you should do that

    All the best

    hello,
you had an experience of one year and you should not be afraid for this situation.you know what is the work culture in your office and what are the rules and regulations to be followed and this the right time to enhance your skills in handling the situation and helping them.
you should guide them and clarify the doubts they get and make sure that you are good enough to answer their queries.this is not a difficult task and you should be thankful for giving the opportunity for you to be assisst your freshers in a right path.
your boss dont want to create a long age gap between your freshers and seniors as freshers seems to show some uneasiness for a senior.
and you have one year experience you will be good for handling them and the freshers may adjust with you in an easy way as the age difference is less.
    thank you............
