Because of fraud customer my salary stopped and threatening by employer

I am working showroom manager in reputed furniture showroom. One customer buyed some furniture by cheque and his cheque has bounced. Later on I recover he was a big criminal. I recover sum furniture, but still Rs.3 lakhs is pending and one of my boss returned the bounced cheque to me. Now they stop my salary to recover the loss. So, I leave the job and mailed my resign as I am not bound in any contract now they are not accepting my resignation and threatening they will file a case against me. I have joined a new job so now I did not know what to do.

    Hello..

Brother it is a major problem, as on one side if i say that as a salesman it your responsibility to sell something and get full payment details and its your duty to judge the customer so now its your duty but now if have done a mistake now you can take help from police and try to recover all that furniture . Don't fear that he is a criminal just do what you have to do or you can talk to your boss of that furniture showroom and can conclude to get a solution because running from the problem is not the solution. Try to solve this and , you will sure get some idea.

    thanks

    take care.

Friend I have studied your statement sincerely I have seen you are innocent and have no fault on your part.

    The positive points you have:-

1.Company did not served any Instruction before selling furniture and receiving cheque you are ascertain first that he maintains sufficient balance in his a/c.

2.Cheque bouncing phenomenon is not new it is natural.

3.Due to cheque bouncing your furniture owner can not stop salary acoording to his own choice, it is quite ileegal.

4.As per rules the drawer will get severe penalty when he is unable to pay the cheque amount within the time.

5.Furniture owner must pay you salary and can not do nothing against you.

6.The Furniture owner can file case against the a/c holder(drawer)who issued check without maintaining sufficient balance in his a/c.

So, that as a showroom manager you must not resign you join as usual rather you give advise normally you can not file case against me you can

file case against the drawer as payee of the cheque.

    Thank You,
