Basic deducted even after serving notice period

I have been working in a company where I am serving a notice period. Recently, I have received my salary but basic for the month has been deducted. I am resigning after serving the notice period. On what grounds, basic has been deducted from my salary. Please suggest a way.

    Hi aspirant

Your basic should definitely not have been deducted from your salary as you have followed all the rules and policies of your company and thus have resigned by completing all the formalities and also serving your complete notice period. So your company doesn't have any right to deduct the basic from your salary in this manner and you should definitely get this cleared from your manager. You should speak to him as soon as possible and not let such injustice happen to you.

You should tell your manager that you have served your whole notice period and then only resigned. Also you have completed all the formalities before resigning. So then you wanted to know that why the basic from your salary has been deducted for this month. You think its just a mistake on their part and you want them to correct it immediately and thus give you your due.Otherwise they should explain to you why they have done this.

I am sure your manager will give you a satisfactory reply and definitely help you in this matter. If not then you don't hesitate and report it to the higher autuhorities in order to get justice. I am sure they will solve your problem. Good luck and Thanks

Dear it is absolutely illegal action taken by your company and you should go to the company authorities again that why they have deducted your basic payout which is compulsory for each and every single employee and you would get your answer and also ask them that why did they do so only with you when you are performing good and serving in the company according to the rules and regulations and whatever mentioned on the notice period and the company authorities also should behave according to the rules otherwise it make affect the image of company because if they do the same with other then he/she may go do the court and file a complain against your company and use RTI that why did they do that so tell them and ask requisitely and be modest so that you could get the accurate answer and do not forget to be in the manner and discipline

    All the best

Dear friend company has deducted your basic salary though you have served notice period. Now the question is here as per company law a no 1 category company never deduct salary if there is any law ful notice from your end to the company. If you have the better option then you must serve notice that is to be honoured by your existing employee, this is the usual system. Now you see an employer have to manage skilled employee to your vacant place and for that reason company to recruit somebody to do work at your place. For the purpose time is needed.

So dear friend i think you have served 3 months notice for the purpose as company to recruit new employee at your place. You have mentioned employer has deducted your basic salary without noticing you.Under this situation you do a query why the company has done so? if you served 3 months notice then company can not deduct your salary. If you served less duration notice then company can deduct as compensation. However they will release you time and due experience and skill sertificate will be delivered you before leaving the company.

    Thank You,

    Hi..............,

Do one thing write a letter to HR department.----->
    * You will get a full details of salary.
    * You full salary include every allowance.
    * Thus when you get a salary in hand it is reduced.
    * You can get full details of salary from HR department.
    * You can also complain if getting less salary....

    Thanks

    Dear Aspirant,

Really,it is injustice to you by the management. It may be due to clerkial mistake.Otherwise deduction of basic salary should not have been done.In order to be clear in this matter, you may cantact the Manager Accounts/Manager HR or the authority who is responsible to pay you the salary.

In case it has been done knowingly, ask the reason. If you are satisfied with the reply, then it is alright otherwise you may take legal help. But it would be better to console yourself because you are goining to resign from this job.If you move legally, you may be disturbed in getting your new job in time.

So better to get your relieving letter, experience certificate & all your accounts such as EPF,gratuity etc settled in time & join the new job happily.Generally the out going employees are treated well & they don't get importance.

    Thanks & good luck.

    Ashok..
