An average appraisal being given to the most hard-working employee

I am working in a software company. There is one employee in our company who works hard everytime and thus deserves to be awarded for that. But I was very shocked when I found out recently that he received just an average appraisal this time inspite of all his efforts. I donít think this is fair and I really want to help him out. What to do in such a case?

    Hello..

Friend first thing is that , is he is saying something about this little appraisal if yes then you can go to help him and if not then this is not a matter of yours because if he is not showing any problem for this and you will raise voice for him , you will be in problem ,and if he is having problem with this little appraisal you can't lead the matter , you can just support him . Make sure that he is not demotivated , you can support him in this , make sure that he will have guts to talk with his boss about this thing and have a enough appraisal for himself. You can also meet with a person in office who is your good friend and having some office authorities and talk about him.

    All the best.
