Re: Am I not eligible to get experience letter if I leave the job during probationary period?

    Hi friend,

Yes my dear friend you wouldn't get any experience letter as you are in probation period.

Probation period is the period in which the company tests you on your performance and attitude and each and every ability of yours.

If your performance is good in the probation period and you are working well then the company would accept you as the employee of the organization.

During probation period company has every right to remove you from the company without any notice or any experience certificate.

The probation period depends mainly on the organizations, some companies put their employees for 6 months on probation and some companies put their employees for 1 year on probation.

Most of the govt sector organizations put their employees for 2 years on probation to check their ability and performance.

So as per company policy the company wouldn't provide you any experience letter as you are on probation and your probation is not yet finished and you are not accepted as employee of that organization.

My friend if you really want to get the experience letter then work in that company for some 6 months till your probation period completes so that you can get your experience letter,

If you really think that the environment doesn't suit you then you can leave the company but you cannot have any hopes on getting experience letter.

Hope i have helped you in getting relevant information.

    Thanking you....

Re: Am I not eligible to get experience letter if I leave the job during probationary period?

During probation period as job status is not confirmed yet you will not be getting experience letter as it is solely on company's own discretion.
As this is your first job my advice is you should complete your probation period. Please try to adjust with the work culture because there is no assurance in next company you will not have same type of environment! Focus on your work and try to prove potentials as this is your first career opportunity.

If you leave the job now you will loose 6 months of experience so better is to stay back till probation period completion so you gain more experience and after completing probation if still you are unhappy with the work culture you can look for better opportunity in market and can get better role with your experience.

Re: Am I not eligible to get experience letter if I leave the job during probationary period?

YES, YOU are eligible to get the Experience letter even if you are working on the Probation in that company.
You have been issued an appointment letter and your desination is mentioned in that letter.

If you are resigning from the company and serving the Notice period as per the rule of the company and as written on your appointment letter, you are eligible for the releiving letter as well as the experience letter.

In your experience letter, they can mention your designation as trainee or whatever designation, they had given.

You again Meet the HR and stress this point and see what he says.

If still they do not give you the letter, you can use your appointment letter and salary slips as proof of experience and show that to your next company
So Make sure that you take printouts of your Salary slips as well.

Re: Am I not eligible to get experience letter if I leave the job during probationary period?

As you have not completed the probation period you can't have an experience letter.

You are not an permanent employee of the company ,this is your evaluation period where the company checks whether you are suitable for job

    or not.

You must not leave this job until and unless you find a new one because after leaving this job you won't be counted as an experienced person

and also until you will get a new job you will have to remain free , so it is better you continue with the company and meanwhile apply for new

    jobs.

Your uncomfortableness can also be as you have not adjusted well ,6 months is not a big time you must atleast work for a year to actually decide

about this and you can't be sure whether the next place you will be joining would be better from this.

Atleast complete your probation period atleast to get an experience letter,it is also possible that after completing this period you will find yourself adjusted in

    the company

Hi. You are certainly not eligible to get a experience certificate if you leave the job during the probationary period. The rules may vary from company to company but in general this is the rule. And even your HR has told you so, so you are definitely not going to get it.

Probationary period is the one in which they test your performance and skills and also how you adjust to your work environment. And after that they give you a permanent post.

If you badly want the letter then try to complete the probationary period and then leave after a month.

    Best of luck. Thanks

Yes, your HR is absolutely right, you will not receive your experience letter at all as you are in probation period. In Probation period, company check your eligibility based on your performance before accepting you as the permanent member of the employee. I recommend you to please request t your HR to pass any policy regarding working environment so that it will be easy for you to survive with the company and continue with their organization. Hope for the best.

    Hello

No you wont get any experience certificate. That is why whenever you join a company you are given to sign a bond so that you dont leave early before paying of to the company whatever they have invested in you.

Companies like infosys have one and half years of bond. So after that you are eligible to get the experience certificate if you want to quit the company.

Ultimately that is the reason why we are doing a job in the first place so that we can get experienced and may be get a better job with better salary. So if that experience certificate is so necessary for you i would suggest you to work in that company for few more months just to get that experience certificate.

    Thank you

Yes my expensive friend you would not get any expertise letter as you're in probation amount.

Re: Am I not eligible to get experience letter if I leave the job during probationary period?

Hi..I think your HR certainly knows what he is saying and he is certainly right..You wont get any experience letter if you quit your job during the probation period itself..

Probation period is the one where the company tests you and your skills and then as per your performance decides your pay and maybe your position also..The company sees both your strengths and weaknesses and tries to test your practical skills which are required in your job..

Thus you have to complete the probationary period first and then only your experience is counted..So if you want the experience letter then complete your probationary period and then spend some more time in your company as per the rules then only you will get the experience letter..

See your company policies for further clarity..And if you really hate this job just leave it and find another one which will be certainly good for your futrure

    Good luck.. Thanks

So it is better to work minimum of one year.

    Hello,

No, If you leave your job during the probationary persod you will not
receive any experience letter. Every organization has some rules and

peroid in order to be eligilble for experience letter otherwise there is no
question of getting such letter. You should take some time and decide what
