    Dear Aspirant,

As per the wealth act,the income from salary of a parent or parents is not countable for considering the eligibility of OBC non creamy layer. The income of limit of Rs.4.5 lac in a year is applicable to issue the OBC non creamy layer certificate. But this income is meant from business & neither from salary nor from agriculture,Provided the parent or both parents are not directly recruited class ll or class l officer.

In the case cited above, you are entitle to get the desired certificate. But you will have to struggle to get the said certificate. In practical it is usually seen that income from any source is counted for issue of the said certificate. In this connection, you can refer the letter no.
38033/3/2004 dated:14/10/2008 of ministry of personnel, public grievances & pensioners,Department of personnel & training New Delhi.

Hope the concerned authority will be convinced & issue you the desired certificate.

    Thanks & good luck.

NO, you are not eligible to apply for the OBC Non Creamy layer certificate

As per the new rule you can only get OBC non Creamy Layer certificate if you parents annual income is less than 6 lakhs per annum
Also your caste is in the central OBC list

You can get the OBC Creamy Layer certificate, but in that case you would not get any reservations benefits for the OBC category

    hello,
according to our rules, obc's are categorised into creamy layer and non creamy layer which will further depends on the family income of our family.so for non creamy layer family income should be less than 4 lacs per annum.so if salary is above 4 lacs per annum then they cone under creamy layer.
so i think you are not eligible for getting obc non creamy certificate.
    thank you............

    hi
I am sorry but you are not eligible for being into the non creamy layer of the society.
For being in the non creamy layer of the obc category, it is necessary that your parents annual income should be less than 2.50 lacs per annum.
And as your parents income is 6 lacs per annum, therefore you are not eligible of being in the non creamy layer

Hello dear-as per government rules an OBC candidate whose father or his own salary is below 4.5 lakh is eligible for relaxation as obc category. If in successive three years the total income goes over 13.5 lakhs is also not liable as obc category. You can get the OBC Creamy Layer certificate, but in that case you would not get any reservations benefits for the OBC candidate get generally.so leave this topic here and do as a general candidatethanks
