    hi friend,

    net-exam.jpg
sorry friend you are not eligible for applying net(national eligibility test)

    eligibility criteria for net:-

candidates should have secured at least 55% marks(without rounding off) in master's degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by ugc in humanities(including languages).

the best remedy to become a lecturer:-

dont get disappointed because there are lot private schools and colleges that provide the opportunity to make your career as a lecturer.

I would also say that you would get a better opportunity if you get some experience in the private institutions and also you have got a chance to get paid more than the govt institutions too.

    thank you.

NET exams or National eligibilty test is conducted by UGC
This test is held two times in a year

Educational Qualifications for the UGC-NET exams is: Post Graduation pass
Minimum 55% marks in Post Graduation for the General and OBC candidates
Minimum 50% marks for the SC/ST candidates

Since you have just 50% marks in post Graduation, so you are not eligible to appear in the UGC NET exams

    Dear Aspirant,

The university Grants Commission conducts National Eligibility Test twice in a year for the post graduate candidates in order to qualify for lectureship. There are two options in NET,one is only NET & next is NET with JRF.The candiates those who qualify NET are eligible to apply for lecturer & those who qualify with NET with JRF are eligible to apply lecturer as well to enroll for Ph.D for a period of maximum 5 years, two years for JRF & 3 years for SRF with a monthly stipend of Rs.16000/& 18000/per month respectively along with Rs.20000/per year for contingency.

But the minimum marks required in the post graduate degree is 55% .So in this connection I am sorry to quote that you are not eligible to write NET.

Of course you may apply in pvt.colleges to get the lectureship.

    Good luck.

NET refers to National eligibility test which is conducted by the UGC (university grant commission) for Lectureship and Junior research fellowship (JRF). It requires you need to have the post graduation degree in any of the post graduation degree from an recognised university.
    • The required marks in post graduation is 55% and for the sc/st category students due to relaxations it is 50%.
    • There is no age limit for the Lectureship, however for the JRF the upper age limit is 28 years.
