    Am I eligible for medical claim if company haven't accepted the resignation yet?

    I have given resignation in my current company as I was planning to start my business, but unfortunately I met with an accident and need a medical claim. As my company havenít accepted my resignation yet, I am liable for my medical claim?

    Hi.Firstly i am really sorry for your accident and wish you speedy recovery. I do think you are eligible for medical claim until your resignation letter is approved and you leave your company. The rules may vary from company to company depending upon how many days it has been since you applied for your resignation letter.

    You can contact your company officials for better clarity.

    Hi,


    Once resignation process is initiated all other process approvals , benefits cannot be availed from the company except salary components

    But medical claim can be availed till the last date of service because

    Safety and security is highly important for employees

    Ask your HR for details on this and avail the medical expenses

    Before that read your company policies on this aspect or make a request in Helpdesk to solve this query

    Hello,

    Well i am afraid you might not get the medical claim from your company,
    because you have already forwarded a resignation.

    Though it is not approved yet but they have not rejected it also.

    If they reject it then you might apply for the medi claims but until then you cannot get your claim .

    so you have to wait for that.

    Some companies have their policies .

    If you have forwarded the resignation then you cannot claim any benefits from the company.

    You cannot do anything but wait.
