    Age discrimination at workplace

I am working in a telecom company as a receptionist. My age is 21. All male staff is behaving badly with me. I always feel insulted by this. They crack jokes on me & disrespect me. It is just because they are very senior in age & I am very junior. i really feel discriminated. What should I do?

You should not let these things to continue.
Age and Position is not an excuse to behave badly with anyone in an organisation.
Seniors are never allowed to behave rudely with any staff
    .

You need to talk about this issue immediately with the HR manager or Employee Relations Manager of the Company.

Raise this issue and ask for a solution from them.
They will definitely sort this issue, but dont keep quiet.

I recommend you to please contact to your HR manager as soon as possible as no one has the right to discriminate you on the age basis as per our constitutional rights. All though they are your seniors but they should respect you, help you and support you instead of cracking jokes and criticizing you. Please contact to your HR manager and discuss the complete issue and ask for help. I am sure, he/she will surely help you out. I suggest you to please don't be quiet else this problem will grow day by day and you may have to face many problems.

First of all stop giving response to them. Talk to them in a nice way, Draft an e-mail to all of them that you are not feeling good because of your this kind of behavior. I hope they will understand you if you write you mail properly. After that you have to tell them that you have to raise this issue if you guys does not stop teasing me. Keep your HR or Manager in CC of that mail. It will surely help you out. One more thing is to tell that if nothing happens go and talk to your manager HR.

    This will surely help.

Please do not let yourself go where they want you to go. PROTEST.

    All the best
