Affect on experience due to timing of work?

My office timings finish off at 7 PM in the evening. I work late night and its my wish nobody forces me. But please make me clear if I stop giving my extra time and create no harm in my regular work, will I be creating anything against my experience?

Nothing will effect your experience if you are working sincerely and with regularity.

Your employer just want the work given to you to be completed in time.

If you work in time or before time you will get always get benefit for it in terms of appraisals or even promotions.

Working for extra time is not needed if you are able to complete your work in time.
