Action I should take against the drunk employees being owner of the company?

I am an owner of a private company which runs both day as well as night shifts. Recently there has been a complaint submitted to me regarding few employees who come in drunk condition during the night shifts. What action can be taken against them to ensure smooth working of the firm?

    Hi aspirant

As an employer of your company you should definitely maintain the smooth running of your company and should see to it that no one breaks the rules in your company. If such rule breaking employees are not punish then this will set a bad example for others as well and encourage them to practice such things. You should definitely punish the employees who came drunk during the night shift. Whatever the reason they should have been more mature and responsible.

You should call them to your office and tell them that it has come to your notice that they have come in a drunk condition during the night shifts. This is not good as they have broken the rules of the company in this manner and definitely deserve a punishment for their wrongdoings. they should stop this behaviour and never repeat such a thing again otherwise they will immediately from their services.

As of now you can ask them to pay a fine for the same depending upon the company's policies or you can ask them not to come to the company for some days with loss of pay. This will serve them right. Good luck and thanks

    Hi,

please send one official communication to all the employees of the organisation regarding the drinking of alcohol in the office hour....then if again the issue is highlighted, send them show cause notice directly and send a final warning...but you have to have proper proof againt them before sending show cause notice..
If the issue resolved...good..otherwise fire them immediately...they will destroy the environment of the organisation..

    hello sir,
as a owner of private firm it is in your hands whether to keep your employees in your company or not so first give them a warning that employees who come to office with drunken state will be taken severe actions and may be dismissed from your company.
if they done it for first time then excuse them for the first time and say that it should not be repeated and if the employee listen to your words then you can tell him to continue as an employee and if he does it for the second time them remove him from that job without any mercy as the output you get will be reduced because of them.
    thank you.............
