    Action against employees who give work to other and go out during office hours?

    I am the boss of a private software company. Recently it has come to my notice that few employees are assigning their tasks to their coworkers or juniors and going out and spending their office time as leisure time. This is creating greater work pressure among other employees. What action can be taken against those employees?

    Hello ,
    As I see this , Its a profew misconduct of superiority in an organisation and should never be encouraged . I
    A prolonged effect of this creates conplacence and is not a suitable working environment .

    Its upto you how you want to deal with such an event . Strict action should be taken against those who are found doing so as it creates senior-junior relations to worsen up . There will be no respect left for his senior and will add up the pressure of performing , tension etc .
    I recommend you to clearly tell all your employees that such events have been heard off and any such repeatition in the future will lead to bad consequences
    such as : penalty , demotion or even firing from job .

    Tell them it will reflect in your recommendations how you perform your tasks and weekly assessments can be taken .
    Assign specific people who can give you the insight about whats happening between the employees .
    You can also reduce the work-load if its too much for the employees or can give them leisure time (office brea ) in between working hours to increase efficency .
