    I am the manager of a small private firm. Recently it has come to my notice that one of our employees is taking bribe from the clients and customers. As a consequence of that,the company is incurring losses. What step should be taken against him?

    -Keep a watch on his further activities.
    -If he does not improve and continue his acts,it is better to take legal action against him and sack him from the job.

If the management is not satisfied with response in his explanation and he has been proved openly he may be placed under suspension for one or two months or to be terminated which depends upon company disciplinary rules.Then it is not necessary to hold further enquiry in this regard. please remember that the management should give its evidence first to prove the charges alleged against the workman.
